Very average hotel. The blind in our room didnt work and after a couple of requests to get it fixed by reception were ignored, we just gave up! On the day of leaving the hotel water started to leak through the roof of our room from the room above. Good job it was check out time......at least the hotel was near the tube.

Very good value for money. Clean and nicely decorated room. Was prepared for very small London hotel room, but was pleasantly surprised, considering the price. Perfect location. Will definitely stay again.

Good value for money for a centrally located hotel. The room was small and rather hot with a shabby carpet and the bathroom was very small. Everywhere was clean, excellent towels in bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful.

A very comfortable and welcoming hotel. Ideal for my overnight stay on business. Good location a short walk from Padding tube station. Excellent value for money in Central London.

The "double" room was not "double" and laso the term "room" was not appropriate, as it was an oven!

I travelled to London for 5 days with my family the last week and I wanted to book in a central hotel, near the most tourist attractions of the city.I stayed in London for two times before and I can tell us that this hotel is excellent and if I have to come back in the future I´ll return to this hotel.
Ala(receptionist), my best regards.

Excellent hotel. Rooms were spotless and big enough for what was needed. Lets face it if you go to London you only need the room to sleep.
Staff were more than friendly. As we were leaving they were decorating the hallways.
Best part of the hotel was the bar downstairs. Pints of carling £1.70. What else do you want
Situated perfectly on a nice quiet road and only 2 minutes away from the tube station.
All in all a very enjoyable stay.
Well recommended

The hotel is in a great location. The room was very clean and tidy. I was on the top floor and could also see Big Ben! The only disappointment were the staff, they were very unhelpful and unfriendly and to get their attention you would have to do cartwheels in the foyer!

We stayed there last week for 4 nights and were completely satisfied with the hotel. The location is fantastic as Paddington Station with many shops, restaurants and Tube Links is within 2 minutes of walking.

Our room on the forth floor (there is a lift!) was kind of small but very comfortable with enough drawers and a working kettle for tea/coffee (refilled every day), the bathroom was clean and spacious with enough hot water. The beds were of average size but with clean sheets.
The only two minuspoints were the not very friendly reception staff and that the fire alarm went off twice during our stay (for 1 minute) without futher notice...

Overall we give the Norfolk Hotel 9 out of 10 points for an almost flawless stay. We can highly recommend the hotel for a short stay in Central London and will surley return.

We stayed there last week for 3 nights. The room was small, but for this short time and the price o.k. We had a TV, haidryer and coffee-maker in the room. The room was clean and the bath-room had a tub and was also very clean. The location is great -> Bus- and train-station really close. Look for a room that goes to the backside of the hotel. Our room was towards the street and it was kind of loud sometimes.

Excellent value. We stayed two nights during the Christmas/New Year period and it was well above my expectations. Central for the trains, buses and plenty of eating places nearby. Service was excellent. Rooms had everything we needed. Clean and plenty of hot water. Had to turn the heating off at night as it was too hot. Definitely return if in London again.

Booked for 2 nights, moved to another hotel as there was a problem with the room - we were not informed the new hotel was twin beds! 2nd night returned to the hotel, no compensation was mentioned - I had to request it. Room was good - suggest they invest in updating the sheets as they looked very tired.

For the price of £40 per night I must give this hotel with a very good service top rating!

Small overheated room. After one night we were moved to their sister hotel (The Blakemore) because the hotel closed for Christmas.

Could hardly believe that this smart hotel was the one we were paying so little for. Breakfast was average but room lovely and we could see big ben! Excellent location too.

Now this hotel is probably one of the best i`ve stayed at in this area for under £60 they also have the added bonus of a bar downstairs that sells the cheapest beer around. Not bad at all!!
