Westminster Abbey This magnificent and world-famous building is this country's most important church and has been the site of every coronation since 1066. The tour includes the Royal Chaples, resting place for most of our medieval monarchs since the time of Henry III in the thirteenth century, poet's corner and much more. This church is used for the country's main religious ceremonies such as state weddings and funerals, the last one being for Diana, Princess of Wales in 1997. Parliament, Whitehall, Downing Street, Pall mall Taking you past the Houses of Parliament, Downing Street and the Official residence of the British Prime Minister, Horseguards and Pall Mall. Changing of the Guard Alighting near the Mall then going to either St.James's Place then Buckingham Palace for the Changing of the Foot Gaurd or to the Royal Horsegaurds Parade, to see the Changing of the Household Calvalry. Witness the pomp and pageantry of the Changing of the Guard. Thrill to the colour, the movement, and the music of Her Majesty's Household Troops. A photographer's paradise! *Due to religious services on Sundays you will visit the London Eye instead of Westminster Abbey . |
