Windsor Castle Is the largest inhabited castle in the World and has been home to all our Monarchs since 1078, when it was first built by William the Conqueror. You will see the magnificent State Apartments containing a fabulous collection of treasures, including works of Art by Van Dyck, Rembrandt and Rubens. When the State Apartments are closed, we will visit the Castle from the outside and then visit the equally magnificent State Apartments at Hampton Court. Runnymede Board the coach for a journey across what was once an island. See where King John was forced to seal the Magna Carta in June 1215. Hampton Court Gardens The Palace is situated on the banks of the river Thames surrounded by 60 acres of beautiful gardens.Gardens include The Privy Gardens and The formal East Front Gardens or visit The South Gardens and Lower Orangery. *Entrance to the Palace is not included This tour finishes at approx. 5.30pm |
